Welcome to TANJULE - gymnasts old and new!

Tanjule Rhythmic Gymnastics Club is a competitive and/or recreational Rhythmic Gymnastics Club for gymnasts from 3 years of age. We train on Mondays & Fridays, at the Hallett Cove R-12 School, Gledsdale Rd, Hallett Cove, SA 5158.

Rhythmic Gymnastics is a sport where gymnasts use apparatus  - hoop, ball, ribbon, clubs and rope - and incorporate ballet, dance and gymnastics into their routine.

Before commencing Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) each year, we require you to complete your annual registration form, and bring it to your first training. It is 2 pages here on this website, or if you would prefer, one can be emailed to you for completion.

It is important for us to have our gymnasts’ medical information and parent contact numbers, before gymnasts are left in our care at trainings.

We require $40 for your gymnast to be insured and registered, through GymnasticsSA. This payment is a once-a-year-only payment.

Ross Longmire (Pop) will be collecting and receipting all payments at trainings, so please visit him at his desk. Ross (Pop) will also order any apparatus you may require. You can do this independently through www.amco.com.au, or if you place an order at the Club, we are able to share the postage cost – which is cheaper for you. There is often secondhand apparatus available for sale, too.

For new gymnasts, we sell rope at the Club, and you are able to use our apparatus until you purchase your own. A Club leotard is required before competitions, and croptops are available for purchase - please see Deb to place your order.

First lesson is FREE for new gymnasts. Just come along on a Monday or Friday at 6pm for a try. We are a friendly club, and parents are welcome to stay and watch.

GYMNASTS- Please remember to wear leotards, or  croptops and bikeshorts to training. In winter, stockings and a tight-fitted top may be worn. It's important that training clothes are tight-fitting to enable the coaches to easily see the gymnast's body movements, and ensure they are being performed correctly, without risk of injury. Please bring a water bottle and running shoes to every training, and whatever apparatus you have. Hair is to be worn in a bun or ponytail - please use clips - hair in your face is distracting to both you and your coach.

If you are unable to attend training, please send a quick text message to Julie 0408 825 953 with gymnast's name and reason. This helps with training plans, and is really appreciated.

Please check our calendar. There are some great competitions to see this year. All gymnasts and families are encouraged to come and watch these competitions.

We look forward to seeing you at our next training!  :)
